I have a shotgun with 5 rounds, a backup food supply, and water purification tablets. @heatherlg89 and I have teamed up. We choose option 1. She has a pistol with 8 rounds, a flashlight, and a backup food supply. We both need to eat prior to the end of day 6. We take the rough trail out of town. I am confident I can start a fire 🔥 now with the flashlight. I take the batteries out and use a small piece of trash such as a gum wrapper or any thin piece of metal I can use to jump across the terminals on the battery when the thin strip of metal conducts the charge it will heat up red hot and ignite paper or any kindling as long as it is small enough. I know this works for a fact as it's how I lit cigarettes in jail. If I didn't even have the trash to conduct the charge I could use the spring in the flashlight but I would rather use a piece of trash so I can keep my flashlight working and have 🔥.
