More "L"s - A More Beautiful World

Fungus is among us, and fungus is fine.
Though not every fungus is safe and benign.

In the woods now we find a treasure trove rare.
Oh, if only @papapepper had cast iron and butter to spare.

We'd fix up a morsel so tender and sweet,
The kings of the lands would be dying to eat.

Sadly, apocalypse trouble has befallen these lands,
And we'll eat them each raw, with our rough, dirty hands.

But as we do eat them, if just for a while,
We'll dream we are kings, each choice not on trial.

Taking a respite from the worries of this zombie-land curse,
And relaying it all in humble prose and verse.
