Hi Steemit, we recently had the privilege to work with singer-songwriter Aalex who connects jazz with the easygoing nature of indie. She favors breezy guitar plucks over electronic synths and doesn't shy away from the use of instruments in her music – a refreshing contemporary artist in a beat-heavy world.
Her precociousness stems from past battles with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, but it's also what carved the tangerine, somewhat muffled, vocals that complements her quirky personality and music.
Singer song writer Aalex Termizi states: “the reason i chose music was to allow myself to be open to new experiences and emotions, and with music, i’m letting myself grow as an individual with an appreciation for steadfast curiosity and the need to be in linear with music. the reason as to why i love this song is because of the simple meaning behind the gratitude of living, & as a cancer survivor; i’m grateful to be a part of this whole journey.”
We produced this music video to accompany Aalex's cover of Stevie Wonder's song "Isn't She Lovely". We also fortunate enough to feature the stunning Alicia Amin (Asia Next Top Model Season 5) together with a group of equally gorgeous ladies to accompany the song's tenacious demeanor.
