Steem-music : A random jamming session in Manchester Library [video].

Theres this one fine day in 2016, while i was still in Manchester, i had a casual stroll around town visiting places, and end up going inside the Manchester Library to check the place out because they have just finished renovation and extension works for few years. The spaces inside were programmed in a circular planning in which the middle section is where the fascinating grand main reading space located, where a drop of pin can actually be heard in this space, despite its a huge 3 story heights of space.

The quiet grand main reading space is surrounded by a non-formal kind of space where it is called the Henry Watson Music Library excites me the most. They have all these kinds of instruments from piano and keyboards to recording mics and Dj mixing turntable for the public and music students to practice.

I was there at about 3pm where i saw a few students (i assume) are setting up one corner of the library with drums, and few set of guitars, bass and amps that seems like setting up for a gig. I near that area for a while waiting for them if they were to have some sort of practice or a show. One of them started to bang the drums to a soft rhythm, and another person were tuning one of the guitar. Suddenly another guy came to the area and grab another guitar, and start testing the guitar to the rhythm. Then he look at me and asked ''do you play the bass?'', i was startled and spontaneously said "oh yeah!". He give a gesture towards the bass guitar on the stand and told me that i can plug in to the other amps there.

...and so i did. :)

Remember we that were in the library? yeah we were jamming hard in the library for almost an hour. Its one of those things i would never imagine doing in my entire life. After the jamming session i just knew that they dont even know each other, all strangers but somehow everyone sticks to the same rhythm and played really well together. How i wish i knew about that weekly session earlier, because that was the last session ive got to get involve as it was my last few weeks before im going back for good to Malaysia.

It was one of the most amazing experience i had there. :)
