It came to my notice that there are numerous inactive account on steemit, the painful part is that this accounts are owned by newbies.
And when I carried out my research, I discovered that they left because they didn't gain recognition on steemit.

Although many newbies have been hard-working, but they haven't been aiming their blows where it count, it is as if they have been putting water into a basket.

And with this post, I can assure all newbies that their growth on steemit is assured.

COMPLETE YOUR ACHIEVEMENT TASKS

Steemit is a very wonderful platform to join as you benefit both mentally and financially but many see steemit as a "get rich quick" scheme where they can just join and start packing money.

When you join steemit as a newbie, the first goal you should have in mind is to complete your Achievement tasks, at least up to Achievement 4, as this Achievement tasks will help you learn some important operation of steemit.

For example Achievement 2 helps to teach newbies about the essence of security on steemit.

It is from the Achievement 2 task that a newbie learn the best ways to save his keys and how important his keys are.
He also learns that once his keys are lost, it cannot be regained.

From Achievement 3 teaches newbies the gravity of plagiarism otherwise called content theft.

By completing Achievement 3, a newbie will learn how to properly source his contents and this will help him abstain from the punishment that comes with plagiarism.

The Achievement 4 teaches a newbie how to properly format his post to make them easy to read and attractive to readers.

From research and life experience, i have come to notice that patience is one virtue that newbies fails to have.

The moment they have been mentored on their Achievement tasks, they feel that's all they need to know to earn and then they begin making post in the wrong community and with wrong hashtags.

NO!, As a newbie, you need to patiently follow the guidance of your mentor.
Aside your Achievement tasks, there are still numerous things you need to know to excel.

You need to know the right community to make your post, you need to know the right tag.
For example, you cannot go to steemit crypto academy community and make post about foods, no, it won't be accepted.
You need to learn patiently.

AVOID COMPARISON

Comparison is another quality that that has hindered the growth of many on steemit, not only newbies.

As newbies, you need to avoid comparing your earnings with that of another person, as many have long been on steemit before you.

Comparing yourself with others will make you feel your are not doing well and at such discourage you from being active, or sometimes it may make you feel that the curators are being partial, no they aren't.

When you focus on your growth, you will be shocked at the progress you have made.

QUALITY CONTENT IS KING

As we know, steemit is more or less like a content publishing platform that rewards its users for publishing quality content, and in this platform are varieties of individuals from different areas of life.

So inorder to be known on steemit, you have to be among the best and this can only be done by continously publishing quality content.

A content with quality is one that is usually very detailed, free from plagiarism, creative and informative.
Desist from making short articles, your article should be made up of at least 300words.
In some communities, short articles is not supported as sometimes but can make some individuals get muted.

Many feel that they don't have what it takes to make quality post and as such they result to content stealing.

Whenever you steal from others on the steemit platform, you will be caught and this will lead to being muted on that community, and that will be a bad reputation for someone that one to succeed.

Plagiarism is not only when you copy another person's write-up, plagiarism can also be done by using a non copyright-free Image. Or using an Image without giving credit to it's owner.

To access a copy right free image, you can visit pixabay or better still use your own images.
Whenever you get a image from pixabay, please always ensure to add the source of the image just as shown in the images used by me.

So please and please, let's endeavor to use our own images and texts, you can further scan your text for any trace of plagiarism using this tool

DO NOT UNNECESSARILY MENTION OTHERS, ESPECIALLY THE CURATORS.

Mentioning other users unnecessarily is a wrong practice, many believe that when they tag other users they will get noticed and if they tag the curators, they will get voted but that is a very wrong idea as reverse is the case.

You mention others by adding @to their username, something like this, @jueco.
It is not wrong to tag others, but it should be only for a genuine reason.
You can tag the person that introduced you to steemit so that he can check out your progress.

You can make meaningful comments by going through the articles of other users and you can also join the ongoing engagement Challenge.

When making comments on others article, you should endeavor to make detailed comment, you should be creative with our comments and should avoid shorts comments as

To my opinion, I feel it is better not to comment on my post than to drop short comments on my post.

Try and say your view on a section of the person post, ask questions on what you don't understand, be creative, you can crack a joke from his post or relate it to a personal experience. Think outside the box.

PUBLISH AT MOST THREE ARTICLES IN A DAY

It is true that consistency matters a lot on steemit but it is not advisable to publish more than 3 articles a day as a newbie.

Publishing more than three articles will probably reduce the quality of your post as a quality post takes time to be created.

It is better to have 2post of great quality than to have 4 posts of low quality.
Quality is preferred to quantity so take your time and create quality posts.

EXPLORE VARIOUS SUBJECT OF DISCUSSION

It is true that for you to make a quality post, you need to discuss about what you are best at, or probably your favorite subject.

Yes, but once in a while it is advisable to post on other articles as it helps to increase the scope of readers that will be attracted to your blog, thus increasing your chances of getting support.

For example, you are a Crypto guru, you are good at cryptocurrency and lot of things associated with it, it is advisable that you also expand your niche by making sport related content, you can also post about arts, Diarygame and so on, just think outside the box.

CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY

To succeed on steemit, you need to be consistent, steemit as I earlier explained is not a get rich quick platform where you join and get rich quickly, you need to be consistent.

You can measure your consistency by ensuring that you have at least 7active post all the time, this implies that you make at least one post a day.

And whenever you check on steemworld and you don't have 7 active post, this means that you are not longer as consistent as you ought to.

• And club100 implies that your total earnings for last 90days would have been powered up.

As a newbie, you probably wouldn't have spent up to 30days on steemit, but you can join the club.

You can either but steems with your fiat currency and send them to your wallet for power up.

There is another project on steemit known as the community curator team project.

This is a project in which 6 teams are selected monthly to handle the steemcurator04-09 account, all for the sake of distributing votes to users.

These teams have different niche of which they vote and each team have a unique hashtag which they use to locate the post of a user on steemit.

So when you make a post and use the unique hashtag, your post will be immediately voted by the community curators.
