It's not ideal, for sure, but I'm trying to be less judgemental about such things as I better understand the mechanisms in the human brain which lead to that behavior (and work to justify it). We all have the same flaws and given the right circumstances (upbringing, DNA, etc), we could all be disgusting.
I guess it's my coping mechanism to see it as funny when the human brain rationalizes what I would consider irrational, inconsistent, or hypocritical behavior.

Yeah, you can't do much else than laugh at it in the end since its out of your control anyway.
You do get a bit tired of seeing it happen many times though, faith in humanity lost a little at a time. :P
