SLC27/W5 | YouTube Analytics & Consistency Strategy by @nsijoro
I've been thinking about something lately; the previous weeks' themes have been really beneficial, and even though I didn't take part, the quality and editing of the most recent video I published and the one I was going to upload didn't match because I produced them at night. I decided not to upload since people would not be inspired to watch my subsequent work if they compare my videos.

I found out that the YouTuber I chose to follow has been regularly posting content over the years by browsing through their pages. Following monetisation, TikTokers post at least twice a day, and YouTubers and other content producers do the same. And guess what? Their prominence and following grow quickly...

Updating and Installing YouTube Studio
Task 1 — Channel Analysis
Checking my channel analytics for the past 28 days using the overview button, I discovered that my channel has had a total of 22 views in the three pieces of material I have posted since the challenge; the periods in which this view chart increased were on or before October 11 and October 20. Since then, I have seen no changes in the channel. I had a YouTube Studio already installed on my Android device, and on the Play Store I needed an update, so I updated quickly so that I can monitor my channel effectively.

view and watch hour in 28 days
- Watch hour: My watch hour doesn't look very impressive; I had a watch hour of 0.4 hours, which is equivalent to 24 minutes. I made a little calculation; currently I have 3 videos on my channel. In summary, all of them are 7 minutes and 55 seconds, and if 24 minutes is divided by this, I will have 3 minutes and 3 seconds (3:03), meaning I have approximately 3 people who watched my video to the end. If I should calculate by the number of views, it means nobody watched this video to the end. Anyway, it's just an analysis.

Audience
- Audience: Going into the audience button, most of the buttons are inactive; maybe that's because I don't have any subscribers at the moment. The monthly audience has increased to 15. A higher percentage of 88.2% of my audience uses a mobile device, and 11.8% uses a computer, this shows that they can have access to content once it is uploaded, since their devices are mobile. I wanted to see my audience's location, but unfortunately this was inactive as well. I think I know the reason...
After this brief analysis of my channel, there are three things I have gleaned from this data.
I need to be consistent in publishing content so that I can get subscribers, because subscribers will lead to unlocking more channel analytics.
Secondly, my watch hour per viewer is not encouraging, though I just uploaded a few videos on the channel, but I need to be more creative in my video and make it of better quality to attract recent viewers since it will come up on their feeds randomly on my next upload.
Lastly, in the past 28 days, just 3 videos are in my channel, and 2 are visible to audiences. This shouldn't be so. If I had scheduled the content to upload, maybe this channel would have had not less than 25 videos in the past 28 days.
Task 2 — Next Content Plan
For my next three videos, I plan to focus on improving consistency, creativity, and viewer engagement based on my recent analytics.
Here's a plan for my next three videos
Video 1: "Goodness of God"
Theme: Thanksgiving Content
Goal: To reinvite viewers to stay motivated and feel loved
Message: God still loves you.
Improvements: I'll use a personal story, engaging visuals, and a clear call-to-action to encourage viewers to share their own motivational experiences after watching mine.
Video 2: "Yahweh Sabaoth"
Theme: Empowerment for anything
Goal: To empower viewers to take control of their lives as they cling to their creator.
Message: Everyone has the power to make a difference in their own life and the lives of others.
Improvements: I'll focus on actionable clips and use engaging real overlays that convey the message.
Video 3: "Cover of This Is Your Love"
Theme: Dance and Celebration Content
Goal: Encouraging viewers to follow my dance steps in the song and celebrate with me
Message: Together, we can achieve more and make a bigger impact, causing more celebrations.
Improvements: I will highlight viewer success stories and create a clear call-to-action to encourage viewers to dance with me as the song plays.
Task 3 — Inspiration from Successful YouTubers
There are many YouTubers that do things differently, and I would love to engage with them with their style of content even though most don't share my niches.
- Brain Jotter: He started with a short comedy skit, and now he does series. I love that moment where he keeps his viewers in suspense anticipating the next video. I'd like to apply that to my video.
- Bethel Music: They are a group of singers that sing gospel songs. Now, they don't just sing alone; everybody is a contributor, and they pair times. This shows the power in a community and being featured. I will feature some people who have gone far in making gospel songs.

- Nathaniel Bassey: His songs, though short, are very inspirational and will definitely go viral once released. These songs are not just simple but have a slow rhythmic composition.
I would love to invite @joshrone, @alli001 and @sahmie to join us.
