Steemit Lagos Hangout; Bringing Steemit to one of Nigeria Metropolis
On one of my post Infected With The Steemit Virus, i wrote on how all my thought has been channeled on posting,curating and commenting on steemit.In this same write up i made my commitment to the steemit community known, stating how i have made up my mind to promoting steemit.
In light of this, i have taken my first step to making this objectives of mine a possible feat by attending Steemit Lagos Hangout where i met steemians of like minds @purplerabbit, @icontola, @peman, @sammie85, @oluwoleolaide, @lucashunter, @gbenga who are dedicated to promoting and skyrocketting Steemit Community.
My Time at The Steemit Lagos Hangout
Introduction: The Steemit Lagos Hangout began with introductory session where steemians introduced themselves to each other with the host @oluwoleolaide talking briefly on what the Steemit Community is all about to give new members a better view and understanding of the community.
Brainstorming Session: Immediately after the introduction was the brainstorming session where steemians shared their ideas on Steemit; making a good post on Steemit, and understanding the kind of people you are targeting with your post.
Refreshment Session: Following the Brainstorming Session was the Refreshment Session where we had some refreshments(cold beers,water, fried meat and lots more).
Talk Session: With the mind refreshed we went on the deal of the day - The Talk Session where steemians like @lucashunter, @gbenga, @epikcoin, @icontola, @peman, @oluwoleolaide, @sammie85, @purplerabbit, and myself @harbysco all discussed how steemit can be promoted across Lagos, Nigeria and Africa as a whole.We also talked on how we can encourage new Steemians, and even set a dream of hosting the first ever steemfest in Africa(Steemfest4 or 5).
Picture Session: Finishing the Talk Session lead us to to the Picture Session where pictures were taken.
- Conclusion: After the Picture Session, the host @oluwoleolaide made a conclusion speech at which we all called it a day.
