I will like to share with you the procedures to follow when Powering Up in steemit.

Moving Steem to Steem Power (SP) within your wallet is known as "powering up." There are a variety of instances in which this process of powering up can occur. Some users choose to buy liquid Steem on a cryptocurrency exchange like as Bittrex or Poloniex, then "Power Up" when they get to Steemit.com. Users can also use the internal marketplace to convert their hard-earned Steem Dollars (SBD) into Steem, which they can subsequently deposit to the SP slot. The ‘staking' portion of Steem's Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) blockchain technology is the process of converting Steem into Steem Power. Users that hold their Steem as Steem Power are rewarded on the Steem blockchain.

How to Power Up

1.Click on my wallet

2.Click on the drop-down attached to your steem balance

3.Click on power up

4.Enter the amount to transfer then click on power up

5.Confirm transfer then click on OK

6.Enter private active key or Owner key or Master password to complete transaction and click on Sign In

7.Wait for the transaction to finish
