RE: "Beware of Bullying"
Wow! So sorry about your past. Ignoring a bully does not mean you are weak, or incompetent or you want this bully to go ahead to bully others, no. Ignoring here means you can walk away in the midst of bullying and then act from behind because acting at that moment might get out of hand.
Of course bullies should not be ignored to avoid the next person being a victim. It was such a bad experience you had in the past, but I'm glad you have been able to get over it and you would teach the little one how to handle bully or avoid bully.
I appreciate your comment ma'am, thank you!
It's hard to walk away if the bully or bullies sit on you or beat you up with sticks and stones, are chading you on your way home and so one.
I can list plenty of cruelties where there's no way to ignore, walk out.
Children are committing suivide because of these bullies..
Many books are written about this subject but schools, offices, society is not able to put it a halt.
A children's book called "Spijt" (regret) is hartbreaking also for the only friend this bullied young boy had who committed suicide. They made a film of this book.
I will never understand why parents, teachers do not recognize their child in need. I do not believe in regret in this case. The average person, bully lives on and forgets the young boy they bullied died because of them. He could no longer ignore it and this was the only way he could walk out. How sad is that. Billions of people but no one reaches out.
🍀❤️
Well, this case is hard. The bully came with all force and that led to death. In may case, I had the chance to walk away, but I didn't. Maybe I was too naive to understand what was happening to me. All bully case differs, a lot of young people die at first instant.
I know a boy who attends a boarding school, he was bullied and when he returned home he was unable to speak to anyone even when he was asked what the problem was. He fell ill after some weeks and was rushed to the hospital, on the sick bed he opened up to the parents saying that some seniors in his school forcefully raped him and gave him some injections and eventually he died.
Bully comes in various forms and when we face the little ones, we could walk away or escape it but with the violence ones, it is hard to walkway or escape. 😘
It would help if topics like these are in the open.
I understand it's not easy to speak out but as a parent you should know your child. A teacher should too. Children spent at least 8 hours a day at school.
An abused child changes, there are plenty of signs that should let an alarm go off.
I asked my child daily after school: how was your day? The answer was: fine.
Till the answer was: fine I even had a good time.
That was a huge sign to me! I am sure all those teachers still remember me teaching them a lesson.
My biggest fear is that today's small bully is tomorrow's rapist and serial killer. Bullying is not just joking around. ☹️
