STEEMNOW.COM - A great tool that you might not be using!
One of my go-to tools to understand the state of my Steemit universe is SteemNow.com (which is created by @penguinpablo).
In this post, I will show you some of the SteemNow.com features that I use daily.
But first, we need to customize your settings.
- Enter your Steemit user id.
- Select the light or dark* theme. I prefer light.
- Click save.

Check out the following features that make SteemNow.com a great tool for you to use.

- Price of Steem - It is important to know what the current price of Steem is. This information is located in the upper left hand part of the screen.
- User ID and Reputation Score - Your reputation score is an indication that you create quality content and provide quality interaction. This score is important because it give you an idea of how people view you within the Steemit community.
- STEEM, SDB, and SP - This section indicates how much STEEM, SBD, and SP that you currently hold in your account. The SP number is the total of delegated and non-delegated Steem Power.
- Your 100% Upvote value - This indicates how much a 100% upvote from you is worth. This value will change for various reasons, including the price of Steem and your voting power percentage. If you are still new to Steemit, you will not be able to upvote less than 100%. I was able select my upvote strength when I reach about 500 SP.
- Daily Rewards - information about your author and curation rewards for today and yesterday
- Setting - we discussed these settings already
- Voting Power - This indicates your voting power percentage. As you upvote, you decrease your voting power percentage. One full upvote will decrease your overall voting power percentage by 2%. It takes about 24 hours to recharge your voting power percentage by 20%. I personally try to stay at a voting power percentage of 80% or higher so that I can consistently give out higher rewards.
- Latest Upvotes - This section provides you information about the people who are supporting you. You can see who upvoted you and percentage of upvote that they used.
- Latest Curation Rewards - This section explains the rewards you have received for commenting on other people's posts and comments.
- Latest Author Rewards - This section explains the rewards you receive from your own posts.
- Latest Posts - This section defaults to information about your posts. It is a great way to see what payouts that you should be expecting. You can also change the settings to view your feed, new, hot, and trending. You can also filter based on reputation score and payout amount.

Thanks for this breakdown @sumatranate. I am very new to Steemit and I am unfamiliar with a lot of how it all works. I went there and put in my username and it says that the value of my vote is $0.00. Is that just because I'm new that I have little weighting for my vote?
@halcyondaze, the value of you upvote is based on how much steem power you have. Right now you have a little over 28 SP, but it looks like you did really great on two of your posts. You will be earning a lot more steem power soon.
I have close to 1000 SP (Steem Power) and my 100% upvote with 100% voting power is only $0.16.
Don't worry so much about that. In time you will earn even more SP. Keep interacting with other users by writing great comments and writing great content.
