Gap between SBD local market value and Witnesses feed

Am I missing some thing.

Why the is a gap between SBD local market value and witnesses feed

For example now at 4-Aug

in the local marker one SBD = 2.41 Steem

The current witnesses feed  one SBD =~ 2.15 Steem

In https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/steem/ one SBD = 2.19 Steem

    I still dont exactly get why we need witnesses, They make way to much money....

      We need them for variance responses. See the white paper from more information.
      But you right they get too much money fro the service they provide!
