Thank you for posting this. For the most part voting was clear as mud. I also agree with your comments about the trending page. Since there are tags that you can go by it would be nice to have the views of posts changed see channelized stream of aggregated topics and trends. I think many new users can come into Steemit and find a home. I do think that the immature interface and high learning curve are a detractor for new people coming in.
