Cost of making a steem account and acquiring cli_wallet?
I don't own a mobile phone, i know that is rare in todays world, but i don't have much of a social life, so i wanted to make a steem account using cli_wallet.
As far as i can vaguely find you need a account to make a account.
Do you need to pay with that pre-existing account for making that account? Or where does that 7 steem power come from which you supposedly get when you create an account with cli_wallet.
What are the costs? and if any does that mean someone from steemit is paying everyone for making a account on steemit?
Also to use cli_wallet, do i need to follow this entire process: https://www.steem.center/index.php?title=How_to_obtain_the_STEEM_client
Or is there a more minimal way to just get cli_wallet? (i'm running linux mint 18.2, in other words ubuntu 16.04)
Does anyone have an answer for any of this?
I guess the only hope for bumping this post and getting an answer lays on chainbb, cause if your post has not been upvoted to the moon through autovoters it is never to be seen again on steemit.
On https://steemd.com/ it says account_creation_fee 0.2 steem.. so that's it? you just need to pay 0.2 steem and you get a new account with 7 steem power.. seems to good to be true, the steem power needs come from somewhere.
