Drawing tutorial of a hand squeezing a can of drink
Materials for the drawing
- Plain white embossed paper
- Pencils
- Eraser
- Razor blade
- Cotton wool
Step 1
First of all, I wrote my name and date on the embossed paper. After that, I drew the palm of a man with the fingers folded. I started with the thumb, followed by the index finger, and then the remaining three fingers. Lastly, I drew the can, which is right inside the palm of the man, a little bit bent.
Step 2
I drew the nails on all the fingers and some lines to give it the features of a hand.
Step 3
Here, I drew how the water splashes after squeezing the can.
Step 4
Here, I shaded the thumb and the heel of the hand down to the wrist.
Step 5
I shaded the wrist downward. I also shaded the index finger and the middle finger.
Step 6
I shaded the remaining two fingers and wrote NY on the bottle and shaded it.
Step 7
I shaded the can and have also shown how squeezed it is.
Step 8
Here, being the last step, I shaded the liquid substance that came out of the can as a result of the squeezing.

Note: The drawing is carried out using an HB pencil while the shading is with a 6B pencil and a 10B pencil.

Thank you so much for being supportive.
This tutorial was truly inspiring! The level of detail in capturing the pressure of the hand and the crushed can is amazing. I really admire how realistic the shading looks. It’s a great example of patience and observation in art. Thanks for sharing such a clear and creative process!
