Video Editing; Introduction to Audio in CapCut.

First I opened the Capcut app and saw an option called New Project at the top. After clicking on the New Project option, all the videos on my mobile showed up in front of me. From there I selected the video to which I will add audio.

Video Mute

Now after selecting the video, I will mute the extra sound coming from the outside environment in my video. After adding audio to it, my video will look good and the extra sound will not be heard. To mute the extra sound of the video, I will click on the mute writing on the left side of the timeline. As a result, the video in the timeline will be muted.

Audio add processing

Now I will import the audio into the video. For this, I will click on the audio text from the menu bar below the timeline. Then there will be a few options, these are Extract, Sounds, Sound FX, Record, Text to audio, and Copyright. Now I will click on the option I need, I need the sounds option, so I will click on it.

After clicking on the sounds option, 4 more options will be seen, these are Recommended, Your audio, Tiktok sound, and Favourite sound. Now I click on Your audio, then there will be the text Extract audio from video, I will click on one there.

After clicking on Extract audio from video, all the videos on my mobile will be shown. From there, I will select the video whose sound I want to use. Then I will click on the text Extract and add audio. Now after coming to Your audio, I will see that the audio of the video I selected is showing in front of us to use its audio. Then I will click on the plus icon next to the audio.

After clicking on the plus icon, our audio will be added to the video properly. Now I will record my own voice at the beginning of the video, for this I will first have to reduce the sound of the first part of the audio of my video a little. To reduce the sound, I will first separate the part of the audio where I want to reduce the sound. To separate, I will click on the first audio, then some options will appear. Now I will keep the long line on the long screen until I cut the audio separately and then click on the split option. Then you will see that our audio has been divided into two parts.

Now I will click on the first part of the audio, then some options will appear. From them, I will click on the volume option and set the sound of the audio to 30. If you drag this long line of the volume option to the right, the volume of the audio increases, and if you drag it to the left, the volume decreases.

Voice record

Now to record my own voice in the video, I will click on the Record option, then a small mic will appear there. By clicking on that mic, I will record my own voice. After recording, both the audio I added and my voice will show on the screen.

Now, in the same way that I reduced the sound of the audio earlier, I will now increase the sound of the recorded voice. Here, I have given the sound of the voice 400, you can give it as you wish.

Once everything is added properly, I will download the video by clicking on the Export option.
