Second day of school resumption was for introduction to the lessons outline for the term.
Monday, September 15, 2025 was the 2025/2026 academic session school resumption Day in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. We in Kings and Queens Royal Schools observed and resumed duties accordingly. As the 2025/2026 academic session had officially begun, I was happy to meet my new students.
The first day of school was dedicated to environmental cleanup and fumigation. The entire school community came together to ensure the compound was spotless and hygienic for the new session. It was a great way to instill a sense of responsibility and teamwork among the students, teachers, and staff.
The next day, Tuesday, September 16, was the day I had been looking forward, to meeting my new Primary One class. As the students settled into their seats, I welcomed them with a warm smile and introduced myself as their class teacher.
I gave them the floor to do their self-introduction, and one by one, they confidently told the class their full names, local government areas, and states of origin. I was impressed by their poise and eagerness to share a little about themselves.
As they finished their introductions, I began to outline the class syllabus for the term. I could see the excitement in their eyes as they learned about the new topics they will be exploring. What struck me most about my new students was their exceptional brilliance and intelligence.
They had all excelled in their last promotion examinations and had been promoted to my class. I was thrilled to have such a talented group of students and I am eager to help them grow and learn throughout the year.
I feel a sense of pride and responsibility as their teacher. The next few months will be filled with challenges and opportunities. I am ready to support and guide my students every step of the way.
The 2025/2026 academic session had begun on a high note, and I I am honoured to be a part of the Kings and Queens Royal Schools community.
