Steem Engine Rewards Claim UI Updates

in #steem-engine5 years ago

For a little while now Steem Engine users entitled to rewards from tokens such as PAL or WEED have been able to claim from within the UI on Steem Engine.

Initially, it did the trick, but now that the number of tokens paying out rewards has increased, the UI did not handle multiple rewards properly. Some users might have noticed text above their balances list spilling over the header itself. Which is why rewards have been moved to a dedicated page called, "Token Rewards".

All you have to do is click "claim" for each token reward and authorise the JSON broadcast to claim your rewards. It works the same way as it did previously, the UI is just clearer now.

If you have any rewards to claim, you'll see a badge beside your username in the top right of the navigation. Clicking this will reveal the dropdown with the claims link.

The reason for this change is two-fold. One: it cleans up the UI which could break in some instances and two: in the future, there is going to be a community claimdrop feature available to purchase using ENG. For those who have been asking me how to do a claimdrop like PAL, that's what this will allow and rewards will be shown on this screen.

How we distinguish between post rewards and miner rewards?

You might want to put a little (NUMBER) to help people to click there.

How are rewards given? I logged in for the first time to Steem Engine... friend told me can get some Palcoins.. but I dont see anything...

Got it. But really I'm here because this is the account of record for FUTURE, which I've heard nothing about. Can you point me to a post about it?
