SPLIT [MOVIE] DIGITAL PAINTING (PROCESS)

"The broken are the more evolved"

I love this movie and that is one of my favorite lines from the movie 'SPLIT' directed by M. Night Shyamalan. Have you watched the movie yet? Please do leave a comment on what you think of the movie because I'm quite curious really as to what you guys thought about it :D Also, I struggle a lot while doing this painting actually compared to the others I've done before because lately, I've been trying to figure out how I want my art to look like, like stylized, or hyperrealism, or semi-realism, or comic-style, etcetera. It was a really stressful time for me even now still but I like how this piece turned out in the end. I hope I'll handle this thing better now. Wish me luck peeps!
Okay, enough talking here's the digital painting progress of one of the scenes from the movie!

1. I started with painting the basic shapes and color as the base.
   

2. Then, I started to do the detail little by little.
   
   

3. Now here goes the blending process with the help of airbrush :'D
   
   

4. Ok since the blending was too much, I decided to make sharp shadows and highlights here and there.
   

5. Lastly, I work on the background and adjust everything that I feel need to be adjusted like the opacity of the background, the blurriness of it, etcetera.
   
   

6. Adding on some more finishing touches, and we are DONE!
   

Know that with every step I always fixed everything that needs to be fixed like the proportions of the face, the highlights, shadows, etcetera ;)

So, that's it! Btw I heard that they were going to make a sequel to this movie and if it's true, I'm really really excited for it!
