Steem Cartoon : The New Semester

This semester I'm being assigned to teach figure drawing for foundation student in The Faculty of Creative Multimedia in MMU (Multimedia University of Malaysia). Figure drawing is one of my favorite subjects to teach. It requires a good observation in studying human physical and characteristic. The objective is to polish the student's drawing skills and to understand the human anatomy better.

The class Coordinator, Mr. Hanafiah Waiman, is an experienced lecturer for this subject. I am present just to assist him and lending a hand to make sure the class achieves its objectives.

The class started with Mr. Hanafiah briefing the students on the semester overview., the class structure, its objectives and student responsibilities.

Among the content that was to be achieved in this session is as follows:

The importance of understanding human anatomy (most designs are based on human as humans are often the main subject because they are the main consumer)

The practice started. This is our first class where the students were given the freedom to showcase their natural talent and their observation skills. There is absolutely no guidance from the lecturer.

I'm looking forward to sharing the class activities, the student's progress, their creations and talents in my blog. Hopefully, this will inspire other educators to share their teaching process as well.
