Once upon a time there was a little guppy named Pristine. She lived in a pond for most of her time and she had always wanted to experience true love.... And so she did. She fell in love with a boy who came swimming near her pond house.

The problem was that this boy was a human male.

She quietly watched the the boy from a distance. Fascinated by him. For Pristine, he was the first male species she saw. In her pond she was the only guppy there. Pristine doesn't have much memory of it...but she does remember that she was separated from other guppies because of a flood...but she doesn't like to think about it. She have already made peace with her fate.

Anyways, Pristine really really wanted to get closer to the boy. So she came up with a plan...

Pristine plucked a couple of long aquatic plants and tied them together to form a noose. Smiling, she slowly swam near him and ever...so...slowly... tangled his feet with noose and dragged him into the deeper part of the pond.

The whole time, Pristine was smiling dreaming of all the wonderful thing they can do together. "we can swim together, eat algae, singing and dancing....", Pristine talked to herself.

When she reached her underwater nest, she noticed that the male was not moving. Pristine was very upset at the thought that this guy fell asleep. She puffed and sulk. "How Rude", She thought to herself. In a fit, she dragged him back up to the surface and dump him onto the ground with a loud thud.

Upon impact, The male woke up with a cough as water poured out of his mouth. He saw Pristine and smiled. In his mind, he concluded that his leg was caught up in some aquatic weed and he drowned. And this heroic girl came to his rescue.

Pristine saw his smile and fell deeply in love again. She confessed her undying love to this nameless man and he, feeling the need to repay her kindness also accepted her feelings. When the man finally noticed her extra assets....her fish tail, He said that he did not mind for he himself was an exotic fish collector.

And for some strange reason he had an empty human size fish bowl just lying around his home.

So in the end both of them went back to his place where he then put Pristine inside a beautiful glass bowl. Pristine was place in his private room near all of his other prized possessions. The bowl that Pristine's new home was beautiful and it was also small. Pristine had a hard time finding a comfortable position but she didn't really mind... Pristine was happy that was she so close with the one she loved.

Every day, the two of them would spent theirs days just looking at each other. Pristine would look at him with eyes filled with love and devotion. He would look at Pristine with the eyes of a proud owner of a beautiful specimen.

Pristine was happy...

Hello People~
sooo....this is my entry for @hanbun's contest....this is my entry for her other part of the contest AGAPE. To me I interpret agape as something very devine and sad at the same time. Agape is the highest form of love. At fist I wanted to do something sad and melodramatic but again.... What the BRAIN??? WHY ARE YOU FILLED WITH TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS???

So, anyways I wanted to show a one-sided relationship. Where on one side this person is so in love that whatever happens they would face it in the name of love and the other side was only with that person because of selfish reason.

At first I wanted to enter this work as Eros but them I kept on saying agape...agape...A GUPPY!!! and it just clicked.

And...well TA-DAAA!!!
