I tried explaining Steemit to a friend who made money investing in Bitcoin. However, he asked why Steemit had 3 currencies: Steem, Steem Power, and SBDs. I tried explaining it to him but I could tell he lost interest. Not exactly torches and pitchforks though.
Yeah, nice example. No-coiners lose interest when they hear the word blockchain and coiners dont understand the need of 3 currencies ... :D
