Today was a draw between me and the sketch book

Today was quite productive, as I was shoving myself out of my comfort zone trying different shapes which most didnt work out but that's completely fine! I'll get better by failing lots and I want you all to see the failures I go through before I make something decent! I struggled alot with eyes often today maybe I need to rest earlier but it was nice trying different styles and learning different shapes and clothing!

Also shoutout to @limabeing for being my muse today and making some rad expressions for this post study! To be honest I've almost never done expressions all my faces are just plain with a closed or open mouth, I mean sure it looks pretty but I want more, I'm really glad @limabeing was nice enough to pose some nice faces for me! really a great learning experience!

I'm really enjoying this series as it forces me to study something different each day and everyday I'm reinforcing my basic knowledge and summarising everyday will build my muscle memory for shapes!

Heres some weird experimental exercises i did while listening to some hip music ahhaha!

This one I was quite happy with the clothing shapes how it sagged and layered ontop of itself but for the face I wasn't so happy I need to get better at imagining faces and drawing faces other than a straight on or 3/4 view. whenever that face face's upwards or downwards, boy do i have trouble!
There's so much to learn as an artist!
