The Diary Game 3: 21/10/2021
Hello everyone on this platform, accept warm greetings from Bamenda, the North West Region of Cameroon popularly known as up country. It’s almost weekend, and I cannot wait to rest a bit. Throughout the week is work, work , and work. The reason why I am anxiously waiting for the weekend. Today I got up from bed at 5:00am, did my morning meditation 🧘♀️, and head to the kitchen (energy house). I had to wash my hands lit the gas cooker and heated water to bath my daughter, and prepare her for school.
While the water was heating, I had to wash dirty dishes in the kitchen sink, and mixed our local “puff balls”. The ingredients I used were flour, milk, sugar, baking powder, yeast, and a pinch of salt. After mixing, I had to allow it to rise before I start frying. This took me about 1hour 30minutes to get the puff balls ready for consumption. While I was preparing the pap, that is fermented grind maize that has been washed. I usually loves it hot, and even my husband. My husband got up from bed and had to assist bath my daughter for school. By the time I served the breakfast, my husband, and daughter were ready to consume.
By 7:45am, my husband left with my daughter. He has to drop her at her school since the school is around where his office is located. I left the house as well since I had to be in the office at about 8:00am. Today, I arrived the office a bit late since I had to keep the house clean before leaving for work.
One of my best moments is doing my community sensitization on GBV. I do not like seating in the office but love field work. Today I had to go to the field to continue raising awareness because the number of Intimate partner violence, domestic violence, and physical assault are rampant in our communities due to the ongoing armed conflict. Survivors are constantly forced to stay at home with their abusers due to frequent lockdowns proclaimed by armed separatists. We believed that community sensitization will help to curb the situation.
I completed field work by 3:00pm. Normally I have an hour break, and close work at 5:00pm. Since I was in the field, I had to go home, took my bath, and prepare dinner for the family. I had some vegetables in the refrigerator, so I had to boil yam we ate with vegetables. I served food at about 5:30pm, we ate, and I relaxed a bit.
At 7:30pm, I login to my steemit account, and tried to complete my crypto homework post. I rounded up with the homework, and posted, watch cartoons with my kids, and call it a day. Thanks for reading.

Chai you really had a nice day, i really want to drink pap it's been long and then i really admire the fact that you hate sitting in the office rather you like to go out for sensitization.
@oniza the cold weather these days prompt me to go in for pap. I have passion for the oppressed, the vulnerable groups. So sitting in the office does make you feel what they go through but going in to the communities to experience what they go through on a daily basis, make them listen to whatever you want to tell them. The reason why I love being in the field to get first hand experience with the vulnerable groups. Thanks for reading my post.
