Good morning to all my beloved steemians. I am here once more with my diary for the day. It was a day filled relatively with lesser activities than usual, however they were time demanding.

MORNING

I woke up from bed some time around 3am. This was so because i went to bed at 9pm, i was so surprise after realizing that i slept off early😂. After meditating a little, i picked up my phone and came browsed on the best social platform, reading some good stories and casting votes. Then i decided to partake in the Engagement Challenge put up by Stars Of Steem, titled Come and I'll show you how to do it!
I worked on it until 9am, taking breaks of course😃. I then decided to break it into 2 parts since the initial article was quite lengthy. You can read the post here.

Below is a little inside on why i chose that precise subject for the art i did for that engagement challenge entry.

About The Art

This art was done some weeks back with the intent of creating a publication in memory of a love one. However, i got so many delays and finally didn't get the time to create the post. What better time to publish such a post than during an Engagement Challenge??

He was my namesake, that's if we consider Junior to be a name and not just a title. Njoyong Junior Njoyong was what i would always refer to as a better version of me. I first met him in school in 2008, and we pushed through 5 years before i switched from a boarder to a day student in 2013. Two years after, we met at the university where he graduated as an Engineer, best of his badge.

I was smart, but he was smarter! I was humble but he made my humility seemly flawful! I was compassionate but he was somehow more. He didn't mind how often he could lend a helping hand. Truth be told, i would have lost my way a long time ago if not for how often he would remind me of who i am and how smart i can be if only i read more. Seeing him put in the work baffled me because i saw reading as stress and was contented with being amongst the best. Even though he never admits it, he always sort to be the best, and he was wherever he went. He achieved so much that no one knows all his achievements, yet the little they know amazes them.
Today, i can teach massive topics in class without reference, just because i got a shove from this dude. He accommodated me at my lowest, even with the financial problems he had. He was that person i would have so much love to introduce some day to my kids because of his brains. He practically performed better than me in every field of study because even though we were quite similar, he was undeniably the better version.

Everyone needs a NJOYONG JR. in his or her life! I may have lost mine but i urge you to maximize the wise words from that person that is presently shoving you from behind!

AFTERNOON

Later in the afternoon, i had a pack of koki corn for brunch since i seemingly have brunch as my first meal throughout this month.

After which, i had a little more rest up until 4pm when i woke up and prepared for service. Most a times i do not take my phone to church during service, so i find it hard to get images.

EVENING

The service went on from 5pm to about 9pm. Then, i doubled back home and watched some episodes of the Boss Baby Series.

I later on remembered that i was yet to create the post on our lovely community as initially intended. After this publication, i'll browse a little more and watch some films before going to bed.

Thank you so much for reading through, i appreciate a lot. Best wishes to all as we await to behold the challenges of tomorrow; besides, tomorrow will take care of itself😂. Steem on💪🏻!
