Being in USA, every place has an arsenal of weapons. why not do a Wyatt Earp, pull the trusty .45 and give the snake a headache?
are we allowed to have a "boy scout thumb stick?", if so, do the snake catcher bit and pin the snakes head to the ground, then put it in a sack to carry with us until later.
If we aren't allowed anything, Shane thinks it is a northern water snake, non-poisonous, so he has volunteered to be the hero, I hope he can cook, maybe we should ask Mama- Peper's advise on a good recipe.
