@Clayboyn took the bold inituative, and ran point position, as The Force interrupted my internet most of the day. Unable to respond I laid idle in suspense. By default and unable to google it, I chose not to kill the snake.
Consider it a given. I appreciate you're extraordinarily bold and rapid response. A notch on your hero belt and we eat... or martyrdom.
The Force indicates a positive feel. How do you like your snake; fried, rascal stew style or smoked? (Hard to keep 'em lit though)

I felt the disturbance, my faith was unwavering. I think we go with smoked, for tonight, we dine in hell!
Got my fire piston, char cloth and gathered tinder, small sticks and larger ones too. Some are treelimbs from lightnin" struck trees laying in the forest. They won't rot as the lightnin' drives the sap into 'em. Burn hot and fast they do. even under wet conditions. The Force indicates, meet above the creek in the rock outcropping and begin after dark when wind is calm. Little chance of smoke detection. Going to gather some watercress I saw on the banks of the creek. Salad or garnish...presentation was 90% on the food network before the apocalypse. Hell rages somewhere but we be stylin'.
