As I already mentioned, Steem promotion is a way of spreading the word about the platform's benefits and tends to attract more investors and content creators. Any social media platform can be used for this, but in my country WhatsApp continues to be the most widely used one. In fact, almost everyone has a WhatsApp account. As all that is needed to sign up is your phone number, it is incredibly simple.
Here in Nigeria, Facebook is yet another fantastic social media platform where Steemit promotion happens. With Facebook, Steem promotion typically reaches a larger audience.
How do you introduce the Steemit Platform on social media? Tell me.
Everyone has their own preferred way to spread the word about Steemit; for my part, I use my Facebook and WhatsApp accounts. Since the majority of my friends use WhatsApp, I primarily use WhatsApp. I only update my WhatsApp status with the phrase "How to earn revenue through content creation." Many would responded by asking how, so I explained about Steemit and how they needed to create original content in order to earn cryptocurrency that could then be exchanged for local currency. While the less serious and uninterested will just end the conversation, the curious and interested will ask for additional information.
Next I'll make a WhatsApp group, invite the users who are interested, and give a speech on Steemit and its blockchain. I'll then assist them in setting up an account and advise them to change and save their private key safely.
After assisting them with registration, I will help them create their first post (an introduction to the Steemit platform) and explain the platform's dos and don'ts.
Tell me whether the Steemit platform is widely known in the community where you live or around your city.
The answer is Yes, I have invited a few of my friends from my community to join Steemit, despite the fact that the majority of them have ceased blogging as a result of the low value of Steem and the lack of SBD. Yet the Steemit platform is still well-known in my community, and I still intend to promote it there because that is where I can attract more users. As of right now, I'm teaming with the STEEM4STUDENTS community to launch a campaign to advertise Steem in the schools and universities in my area.
What tricks did you do to make a Steem promo?
Depending on who I'm speaking with, I employ a variety of tricks. For instance, if I'm promoting Steem from a new friend I made online—say, a friend I made on Facebook—it may not be a close or durable friendship. Telling them that I have a platform that pays me for writing is what I typically do in this situation. When I'm prompted for more information, I'll record a voice note in which I describe how Steemit works and how to monetize it.
When I meet up with my real-life friends—those with whom I have a closer relationship—I explain everything to them one-on-one at the cafe or restaurant where we are eating. We then planned a voice call or video call in case the person didn't have time to go out. I then described how the Steem blockchain operates.

I encourage people to join Steem and help them do so, but I don't do this every day. In fact, my busy and demanding schedule prevents me from really convincing people to sign up. Although the plans with the STEEM4STUDENTS community are still in place, our main goal is to promote Steem to schools and universities in Nigeria. We are still working on this initiative, and I believe that by doing so, we can spread the word about Steemit to everyone, especially students who are in need of financial aid.
