Today is bangla new year. Peoplea of Bangladesh and Kolkata,Indai and also banglai peoles of all over the world celebrate this day . In bangladesh Every year on14th April this festival is celebrateed.
According the modern Bengali calendar set by the Bangla Academy, this day has been specified. These festival is celebrated through various activities such as procession , fair, eating panta rice, halkhata etc. The Bengali New Year's traditional greeting is "Shuvo Novoborso"( Happy new Year).
