Holy cow, I can't believe Bill Gates is worth $78 billion now! I got to see him once when I was a student at the University of Washington in Seattle. He came to the university campus to give a speech at the dedication ceremony for a new building named after his mother (Mary Gates Hall). After the speech, I tried to go up and say hi to him as he toured the building, but I couldn't get past his ring of bodyguards. He looked right at me as he walked by though! :-)
