Stealthcoin. Proof of stake plus stealth addresses?

in #stealthcoin7 years ago (edited)

After using the stealthcoin wallet I am wondering why this project is so well hidden. 4 million dollar marketcap hidden.

In the wallet you can create a stealth address . Every time someone sends to that address a new public address will be created instead that only links with your stealth address from your wallet. You can see how it could be hard to trace transactions especially if the stealth address is only known to to a few people. I am more excited about the 20% annual proof of stake mining system and what that could mean for the future of stealthcoin, Stealh nodes maybe? One can hope.

Also and someone correct me if I am wrong but it seems the stealthcoin full node windows wallet is setup for TOR out of the box. All you have to do is download the wallet and check the SOCKS5 proxy settings box under the network tab in settings.

how many coins do you need to start staking or what would you suggest

You can stake with any amount. Depending on how often you leave ur wallet open you will make around 20% return annually on the number of coins in your wallet while helping the network be stronger and more decentralized. Some people might not even stake the coin but trade it and hold in cold wallets it depends on what is best for u.

ok coo thanks ill look into it
