This is STAYGE One where make a blockchain network for Artist-fan Ecosystem. This is STAYGE ICO FAQ session volume 2! We will share the questions from the people who met at the conference, investors or blockchain professionals until now and explain more deeply about STAYGE Network structure.
안녕하세요, 아티스트와 팬이 상생하는 생태계를 꿈꾸는 STAYGE One입니다. STAYGE ICO의 FAQ 두 번째 파트에서는 저번과 같이 그동안 컨퍼런스에서 만났던 분들 투자자 혹은 블록체인 전문가 분들께 받았던 질문을 공유하고, STAYGE Network 구조에 대해 좀 더 자세히 설명해드릴게요😆

To be more exact, it’s two separated ‘TYPES’ of mediums. STG is just one type as the key currency. ACT is issued by each artist’s community to circulate ACT value in each community. and it’s for growing together with artist/community. It also has a function to solve issues in the current entertainment industry that concentrated in opportunities and wealth to particulars. this system will be more meaningful to rookies and those who did not approach certain stage yet.
Even though each community has an independent ecosystem through their ACT token, each community has to be connected as one network each other. Accordingly, STG token has the role of connecting each community in STAYGE Network. As the key currency, STG , can be traded on coin exchange. It can solve issues that too many tokens are traded by each community in the market.

정확하게는 two separate ‘types’ of mediums 입니다. STG는 1종류 이지만, ACT는 아티스트 별로 각각 생성됩니다. ACT가 아티스트의 커뮤니티 별로 각각 생성되는 이유는 해당 커뮤니티에서 생성된 가치가 그 커뮤니티 안에서 순환되면서 해당 아티스트와 커뮤니티가 성장하도록 만들기 위함입니다. 이는 극도로 부와 기회가 편중되어 있는 엔터테인먼트 산업의 부작용을 해소하는 기능을 하며, 이미 큰 수익을 올리고 있는 아티스트보다는 아직 안정권이 이르지 못한 롱테일 영역의 아티스트들에게 더 큰 의미가 있습니다.
각각의 커뮤니티가 각각의 ACT token을 기반으로 독립적인 생태계를 구축한다고 하더라도, 플랫폼의 네트워크 효과를 누리기 위해서는 각 커뮤니티는 하나의 큰 생태계로 연결될 필요가 있으며, 이러한 연결을 담당하는 것이 STG token입니다. 또한 STG는 STAYGE Network를 대표하는 단일 화폐로써 전체 생태계의 가치를 반영하고 coin exchange를 통해서 거래됨으로써, 너무 많은 개별 커뮤니티 토큰이 시장에서 거래됨에 따른 불편함을 해소할 수 있습니다.

1 ) Gather seed artists through industry networks, 2) Inform existing fans of the artists about the service to participate the network 3) Fans participate the network voluntarily and create a community 4) And as these communities get bigger, they're bringing in new artists. The new artists, once again, will attract new fans, and this is how a virtuous circle of STAYGE Network.

1) 업계 네트워크를 통해서 시드 아티스트를 확보하고, 2) 해당 아티스트의 기존 팬들에게 서비스를 알려 유입을 유도하며, 3) 해당 팬들이 플랫폼에 들어와서 자발적으로 커뮤니티를 생성하고, 4)이러한 커뮤니티가 규모를 갖추면 이를 통해서 아티스트가 유입되는 형태입니다. 새로운 아티스트는 또다시 새로운 팬들의 유입을 유도하며 이러한 방식으로 선순환 구조가 일어나게 됩니다.

Benefit for FANs

The main core of STAYGE Network which blockchain technology is embedded is a recognition for fan activity and offering rewards to the contribution. Fans do many activities without expecting any rewards but only with a love for artists. All they want is being remembered by the artists, and enable to get closer as being more active and devoted. We offer them both emotional and physical rewards by offering ACT tokens. It is an economic benefit that ACT they earn with activity can be reused to fan activity again, and they can be proud of fan activity because collected ACT is quantified of their love (that is, a love for the artist). If an artist holds an event that offers limited items to fans with a certain amount of ACT, he or she may be able to kill two birds with one stone as an old fan and a limited edition.
Also, it will be a good news for fans who use various services without any signing up and payment procedure when they purchase products from companies where STAYGE will form a partnership (e.g.game companies, ticket commerce sites, planners, etc.)

블록체인 기술이 도입된 STAYGE Network의 핵심은 팬들의 활동을 인정하고, 그 기여에 따른 보상을 주어진다는 뜻입니다. 팬들은 어떠한 보상도 바라지 않고 아티스트를 향한 사랑만으로 많은 활동들을 합니다. 그들이 바라는 것은 아티스트가 자신의 활동을 기억해주고, 자신이 기여한 만큼 아티스트와 좀 더 가까이 다가갈 수 있는 것입니다. 우리는 팬들이 인정받고 싶어하는 욕구를 ACT 토큰을 지급함으로써 정서적인 보상과 더불어 물질적인 보상으로 채워줍니다. 활동에 따라 지급된 ACT를 또 다시 팬 활동에 사용할 수 있다는 것은 경제적인 이익이고, 내가 갖고 있는 ACT가 나의 팬 활동(즉 아티스트를 향한 사랑)을 수치화 한 것이기 때문에 팬 활동에 대한 자부심도 가질 수 있을 것입니다. 아티스트가 일정량 이상의 ACT를 가진 팬들에게만 한정아이템을 제공하는 이벤트를 열게 된다면 아티스트로부터 오래된 팬으로의 인정과 한정판을 얻을 수 있는 일석이조의 상황도 생길 수 있습니다.
또한, STAYGE가 파트너십을 맺을 다양한 업체들(e.g. 게임 회사, 티켓 커머스 사이트, 기획사 등등)의 상품도 별도의 회원가입 + 결제 절차 없이 사용할 수 있다는 것은 다양한 서비스들을 이용하는 팬들에게는 희소식일 것입니다.

Benefit for ARTISTS

In particular, for artists from small management agencies, making official homepages is also a big financial burden. Therefore, they usually use social media such as Daum / Naver cafe or Instagram / Facebook / Twitter to communicate with fans. So we regard it as the one-way-direction communication from artists to fans. Fans are scattered in so many different places that it is difficult for them to collect data about what they want or like.
The community’s owner within the STAYGE Network is two groups of artists and fans, and it allows for interactive communication. Artist can open a window for the fans to accept their opinions more actively. Conversely, fans’ opinions can be gathered in one place and easily sent to an artist. (Leading a crowdfund is one example of benefits of fans). As fans are more active, artists can equip the stable fan marketing tool.

특히 대형기획사가 아닌 중소기획사 아티스트들의 경우, 공식 홈페이지를 만드는 것도 꽤나 큰 돈을 지불하고 운영해야 하는 상황입니다. 그렇기 때문에 팬들과의 소통은 다음/네이버 까페 혹은 인스타그램/페이스북/트위터 등의 SNS를 활용해서 이루어지고 있습니다. 우리는 이러한 현재의 소통방식을 아티스트→ 팬의 일방향적 방향으로 보고 있습니다. 팬들이 워낙 다양한 곳에 흩어져 있기 때문에 마케팅 타겟인 팬들이 원하는 것/ 좋아하는 것에 대한 데이터를 수집하는데 어려움을 겪을 수 밖에 없습니다.
STAYGE Network안에 형성된 커뮤니티의 주인은 아티스트와 팬 두 집단이며, 쌍방향적인 커뮤니케이션이 가능하게 됩니다. 아티스트 입장에서는 팬들의 의견을 더 적극 수용할 수 있는 창구가 열린 셈이고, 팬 입장에서는 자신들의 의견이 여러 SNS에 흩어지는 것이 아니라 한 곳에 모여 아티스트에게 전달 될 수 있습니다.(팬의 benefit 중 하나인 크라우드 펀딩을 리드하는 것도 이에 해당합니다.) 팬들이 많이 모여있고, 활동성이 보장되어 있는 팬인만큼 아티스트는 안정적인 팬 마케팅 툴을 갖게 됩니다!

Benefit for Stakeholders?

A benefit for the third party from STAYGE Network is that it can be directly traded with fans or artists. (without the fees that middlemen take!) With Smart Contracts, you can eliminate the anxiety of both sides when contracts are not fulfilled. Most of all, the biggest advantage is that they can get marketing resources with precise targeting.
관계자들이 STAYGE Network에서 얻는 이익은 팬 혹은 아티스트와 다이렉트로 거래할 수 있다는 점입니다. (그것도 중간 업체가 가져가는 수수료 없이!) 스마트 컨트랙트를 통하면 계약이 이행되지 않았을 때 양쪽이 갖는 불안감을 해소할 수 있습니다. 또한 가장 큰 이점은 정확한 타겟팅을 통해 마케팅 자원을 확보할 수 있다는 점입니다.

Fans can use existing social channels and sites like they already do, but all of these features are integrated into the STAYGE Network. You can see the artist’s Instagram / Facebook / Twitter feed at a glance, and you can check the artist’s schedule in the same place. You can communicate with other fans and receive messages from artists in the fan community. Of course, all of these activities are recorded in the blockchain. Getting rewarded with tokens based on fan activities is also a huge benefit. The more active fan in the early days, the more token he/she can be rewarded and this mean he/she can be recognized by artists and other fans.

팬들은 지금 팬활동을 하는 것처럼 기존에 사용하던 SNS와 사이트 등도 사용할 수 있지만 이 모든 기능이 STAYGE Network에는 통합되어 있습니다. 아티스트의 인스타그램 / 페이스북 / 트위터 피드를 한 눈에 볼 수 있고 스케줄도 같은 곳에서 확인이 가능합니다. 팬 커뮤니티에서 다른 팬과 소통하고 아티스트로부터 온 메세지도 볼 수 있습니다. 물론 이 모든 활동들이 블록체인에 기록되고, 활동에 따라 ACT 토큰으로 보상받는 것 또한 큰 혜택입니다. 내가 초창기에 활발히 활동한 팬일 수록 많은 ACT를 보유할 수 있고, 이는 아티스트와 다른 팬들로부터 인정 받을 수 있음을 의미합니다.

With this ecosystem, the Fans/Artists/Stakeholders are not dependent on any particular company. Fans can act independently, communicate with artists and stakeholders also can participate in the already-collected fan/artist pool. As fans, artists, and officials interact and communicate with each other, the entertainment market itself grows, it can be an ecosystem where everyone can co-exist. Fans activity was just an intangible value before, it changes to be tangible value in this ecosystem by cryptocurrency.

이 생태계 안에서의 팬/아티스트/관계자는 특정 기업에 종속되지 않습니다. 팬들은 주체적으로 자신의 활동을 할 수 있고, 아티스트와 소통할 수 있으며 관계자들 역시 이미 모여있는 팬/아티스트 풀에 사업자로 참여할 수 있습니다. 이렇게 주체적으로 팬/아티스트/관계자가 서로 소통하고 거래하다 보면 엔터테인먼트 시장 자체가 점점 커지고, 모두가 상생할 수 있는 생태계로 이루어질 수 있습니다. 팬 활동이 눈에는 보이지 않는 그저 휘발되는 활동들이었다면, 이 생태계 안에서는 토큰으로 유형화되어 순환하게 됩니다.
