- Share videos on Facebook, Twitter or by email; or to many other websites like Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Tumblr . It will automatically share a link to your video.You can also copy the URL of the video to send it as an email message or use it in another website such as blogs, forums...etc. If you don't want to share the video automatically, you can just copy its URL to paste it where you want.
- Watch videos that have been shared on Facebook, Twitter or by email with other users. You can also search for them by keyword if someone has shared them in YouTube.
- Vote for your favorite videos! You will find a heart symbol at the top of each video sorted by rating. To vote, click it and then confirm your choice (by clicking "yes" or "no"). Don't worry; only you and other users who voted like you see how many votes a video got [and what the percentage is].
- Subscribe to other users' profiles so you can follow their activity. You will also get the latest videos shared by them in your home page (It's like having your own YouTube personalized homepage).
You should be aware that people who gave you permission to see their profile, all the comments they write and all their votes, except for "yes" or "no" votes, will then know that you are following them. If this scares you, don't give anyone access to your profile! Here is an example of what each user sees about another user when they chose not to share anything about themselves:
Allow other users to follow you and see all comments and votes that you write, except for "yes" or "no" votes. This feature is available from the settings page (click your profile picture). If someone wants to follow you, they have to give you access first by clicking your profile picture too. You can stop following a user at any time. Currently only users who allowed their profiles to be searched can be found, so no anonymous searching yet...or friends of these people. If you search for yourself, your profile will show up at the top of the list if someone else searched for your username too (if enough other people did). The same goes with all videos shared by other users on Facebook, Twitter and via email
