Statuses: Crypto Wallet, Built in Browser and Educational Platform

There's so many cool Dapps to pick from these days. It is all dependent on what you're interested in. This is exemplified by the varying list of dapps available on Stateofthedapps.
During my random sojourn through the platform, I encountered what seemed like the answer to a problem or should I say skill I've wanted to learn for so long.

You can participate in two ways

Get Status

This will redirect you to a page where you can download the status app. You can download for Android phones, test version for Apple phones, the Mac version, Version for Linux and last but not least Windows

Note: Desktop softwares are still in the alpha phase so you will experience some issues with it.

Here's my Experience with the Android

Status is a platform with multiple applications. It can be used depending on the individual using it.

Internet Browser

Status can be used typically like any Browser to access the internet. The browser renders in Web3 format to improve user experience.

Status Chat

The chat feature allows you create a chat room with a subject. You can also generate a chat topic from the browser and export it to the chat feature; for instance, if you encounter other status users on a website and would like to talk privately.

Wallet

You can store ETH, BTC and a bunch of other tokens with this app

Access Dapps

The wallet gives you easy access to any dapp that runs on ETH or BTC blockchain. You can easily sync the wallet with any dapp.

Etherum Name Service purchase

I also learned about the Ethereum Name service. It is basically a feature that customises your Ethereum address to normal English characters like your name or any other word you choose. You can purchase a nickname by using the local token of status.

Summary:
It is a simple dapp with nice qualities.
It is still in the beta stage of testing so you will experience some issues using it. The browser is also limited, it doesn't allow access to any third party portal like steemconnect, hopefully steem will be Incorporated. It would be really cool if downloading this dapp grants access to a free steemit account.
Maybe also including a quick exchange option for users of the platform; that way steem and other tokens listed can be switched easily.
There are still lots of glitches but it is an impressive prospect.
