Statue of Liberty , a Secular or a Divine Reflection?

This is in response to an article called ´Is Lady Liberty a Secular or a Divine Reflection?” which said…  1.  Both were inspired gifts of the heart.  a. The first thing God did after the fall of man, was to set in motion the plan of liberating man from this new state of sin and rebellion. God was speaking to Satan in Gen. 3:15 when He said, “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”  When did God’s liberator arrive? Luke 1:35 “The angel answered, “the Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.” 1 b. In 1865 the inspired French sculptor Frederic Auguste Bartholdi was employed to create a gift for America’s 1876 Centennial celebration that expressed equality and liberty. 3  Reply: The first gift came from God; But Bartholdi’s gift was “inspired” by Satan. How can I say this you might say? It’s actually quite simple. Let’s listen to God word in the Ten Commandments:  The New King James Version    Deuteronomy 5     Read This Chapter   5:8  'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;  Leviticus 26     Read This Chapter 26:1  'You shall not make idols for yourselves; neither a carved image nor a sacred pillar shall you rear up for yourselves; nor shall you set up an engraved stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am the Lord your God.  Verse 8 and 1 above makes it clear that since the statue was simply made, Idolatry took place.  When you learn the true history of Bartholdi’s inspiration, which he had in mind the truly Pagan God and Idle “ISIS of Egypt”, then the Idolatry aspect of the Statue of Liberty becomes clearly not a sin of ignorance, but rather of intention of design. I will seek to prove this as I go on.  Here are some additional scriptures that warn against Idolatry: (Clicking on the “show context” will take you directly to the word of God)  1Sa 15:23 - Show Context  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king."  1Co 10:14 - Show Context  Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.  Ga 5:20 - Show Context  idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,… (These are works of the flesh that lead one to hell). Col 3:5 - Show Context  Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.   You say: 2. Both gifts are synonymous with equality and liberty. a. Luke 4:18b The spirit of the Lord is upon me ….to set at liberty them that are bruised. 2 b. The French wanted their gift to reinforce American independence, equality and liberty. 3   Reply:      Not true. If erecting an Idol in your land is Idolatry, then b. above leads to bondage, not liberty. The Statue of Liberty has a foundation, but it is not the Holy Word of God or the Rock of Christ. There is no inscription on it’s foundation to follow Christ who alone offers enlightenment and deliverance, but instead a plaque exists there designating the Statue to be the one who is “enlightening the world”, and not just the harbor. Notice it does not say “lighting the world”, it says “enlightening the world” which is a spiritual term. The spiritual aspect of this description is referring to “Illumination”, the “Illumination” of the Illuminati. The Illuminati is a secret organization founded in 1776 by Jesuit Adam Weishaupt in 1776 and their seal is on our dollar bill. At the Masonic international Congress at Wilhemsbad in 1782, July, the Masonic leaders received Illuminati indoctrination. This is an occult group of mystics that believe that they posses the secrets and wisdom of the ages, that they alone have been “enlightened, Illuminated”. The mysticism exists at the elevated levels of the order only, leaving the others ignorant at the lower levels. Eastern Mysticism uses the same terminology. The Illuminati are elitist and don’t feel that they are on an equal level with the rest of us, but are elevated above the rest of the world. They want us to join them in their spiritual esoteric walk. The statue represents their religion and their tribute to goddess worship ( and has a history dating back to Babylon), it is not a biblical mandate, nor is it synonymous with God’s equality or Liberty. It is in fact in line with Satan’s offer to Adam and Eve to eat forbidden fruit freely to gain Godly attributes and power.      2Pe 2:19 - Show Context  While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.
