Statue Of Unity

Today I am going to tell you about Statue Of Unity, Which is the world's largest statue.

The Statue of unity is a statue of Indian statesman, Ironman of India and founding father Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the state of Gujarat, India. The height of Statue of unity is 182 meters (597 ft).

It was built by Larsen & Toubro, who received the contract for ₹2,989 crore (US$420 million) for the design, construction, and maintenance in October 2014. The construction of the Statue of unity was started on 31 October 2014 and completed in mid-October 2018. It was designed by Indian sculptor Ram V. Sutar and was dedicated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 31 October 2018, the 143rd anniversary of Patel's birth.

It opens for the public since November 1, and it attracted more than 1.28 lakh tourists. The huge rush of tourists was seen during the weekends(Saturday and Sunday). Mr. Haider said the government is ready to welcome any number of tourists at the site.

So this is very interesting that so many tourists were visiting in our India for seeing Ironman statue "Statue Of Unity".
