Looks like @ned has his priorities right. The next wave of Steemit adoption will come from these regions and also Steemit can have a lot of positive effect on people from these regions. Ned has a good foresight and let us hope that this pays off well like other initiatives of his.
Let us hope that this solves the Steemit's content discovery problem before the next hardfork addresses this serious issues and fixes it once and for all.

Yes, and it blows much of the rumours and conspiracy theories that have abounded on Steemit. This is why I very much appreciate your hard work Paula. You give us insights backed up with numbers.
