I think you need a large minnow category. Users over 1m vest are the bread and butter of this platform. These people put in money or lots of post to be a part of the system. Over 1m is bigger than bots. If these 1m to 10m are not as active there is a problem.
You are absolutely right. Like I mentioned, the 1MV to 10MV is crucial to Steemit's success. Their activity is pretty much flat for the last two weeks, though I wager some were caught out by the new systems here as well.
