They also seem to include the Virtual Steem behind SBD in their total and circulating supply numbers. It's not clear to me what they're subtracting from total supply to get circulating supply, the difference is too small to be Vested Steem, Virtual Steem, Steemit Inc's stake or anything that immediately comes to mind.
coinmarketcap does mistakes with simple erc 20 tokens so we shouldn't have big expectations!
