Hiding in shame?

I've seen statists try to hide behind so many labels-- patriot, Republican, Democrat, Christian, atheist, libertarian, anarchist... just about any label they can use to hide the truth of what they are at their heart. It doesn't even matter that, in the case of "libertarian" and "anarchist", the labels and their statism are at odds.

Now, these statists may also have other beliefs besides their devotion to statism, but those beliefs don't excuse their statism. Nor do they counteract it. Statism is still toxic.

If you believe governing others is a legitimate human endeavor you are a statist. If that's what you honestly believe, why hide it? Hiding it behind other labels, or objecting when someone points out that you are a statist, makes me think you know you're not on the right side. That's on you.

Something its seems wevare ostriches, just hiding headvinto sand.

These powerful people try to exploit people in the name of different ideologies and so-called political thinking.

But I'm a good statist who only wants to rule you a little bit. I will only threaten to kill you if you disobey me in areas A, B, and C.

Hahaha . . . "good statist" indeed!

Usually they just explode at being called a statist at all. I've had them insist that only someone like Mussolini can accurately be called a statist. So I point out that it's a matter of degrees. They still scream in agony at being correctly labeled. Searching for any objection they can manufacture. The truth is the truth, even if someone doesn't like it.

Similarly, there are people who say things like,

"I'm not a racist for saying [insert racial group here] are all [insert unsavory generalization here]. Only Hitler or slave owners are actually racist!"

Yes, they are racist and nationalist and idiots.

I don't think people should be proud of being a statist!

why hide it? Hiding it behind other labels, or objecting when someone points out that you are a statists.

They should be ashamed

A situation, real or imagined, might trigger a shame response. One may, for example, attack oneself as being inferior in competitive endeavors or believe others will become aware of some concealed flaw. Shame will be felt when we anticipate being viewed as lacking or inadequate in our intellect, appearance, or abilities.

Revolutionary blog post sir, thanks for sharing, you always brings something to change the society.
