Connect Your Blockchain Assets in One Wallet; TenX

The first thing that comes to mind whenever we think of cryptocurrency assets is the safety of these assets and there can't be safety without a wallet. Technology has advanced to the extent that you no longer need to have multiple ewallets to save multiple cryptocurrency assets.

Back in the days, one is forced to oopen a wallet per ctypto asset so in order to have assets such ab Bitcoin, Ethereum, EOS, Steem etc. One must have wallets for each of the assets and this is a very risky act as one may tend to misplace the keys to the wallets leading to loss of assets.
There are lots of Dapps that has been created on the blockchain platform for the purpose of safety of crypto assets and so far so good, they have been working well. But i find this particular wallet Dapp so interesting and amazing.

Introducing TenX Wallet

The TenX wallet is a wallet Dapp that enables one to combine multiple crypto assets in a single wallet. It is safe, secured and user friendly.It enables you to save, send and receive popular cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin— right at your fingertips without any hassle.

Getting Started with the TenX wallet

As a new user, you click on sign up with email and fill up the subsequent pages.

Select your country and then click next.

In this page, you are requested to enter your date of birth and read the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policy, then click the check boxes and then next.

Here ensure your email address is correct and accessible because a verification link will be sent to verify the mail.

Setup a minimum of 8 characters alphanumeric password to prevent strangers from accessing your wallet.

In this stage, a verification email will be sent to your email address, login to your mail and then click on the link to verify your mail. Come back to the app and then click on "I'M VERIFIED". In case the email address you entered was wrong, you can as well change it by clicking "CHANGE EMAIL".

In this stage, you are required to setup a 2-factor authentication as a measure of extra security to your wallet. you will need to have a google authenticator app on your phone to successfully pass this stage. Once you click on proceed, open your google authenticator app and then copy the codes and past in the space provided in the wallet, immediately you'll receive a congratulatory message telling you that your wallet is now secured. Click "OKAY".

And finally the wallet is setup and ready for use. As you can see, it's showing the current price of Bitcoin and same applies to Ethereum and Litecoin.

Adding Other Wallets

To add other available wallets, click on options in the top left corner of the app and then click on my wallets, all available crypto wallets will appear with a plus(+) sign in front. Click on the sign to add wallets as shown below.

Once wallets are added, it cannot be removed so be sure you are ready to add the wallet before adding, though no negative effect if added and not used.

Making transactions

You can select the wallet that owns the cryptocurrency you want to send/receive using the arrows shown below.

To send coins, click on send and then enter the receivers address and the amount of coins to be sent.

To receive coins, click on receive and then select the wallet, the wallet address will be displayed along with the barcode, copy the address and send to the person sending the coin, once the coin is sent, it will be seen in your wallet immediately.

Merits Of The TenX Wallet

The TenX wallet supports multiple Cryptocurrency wallets
Use of TenX card that enables you to spend your cryptocurrencies offline accross almost 200 countries (Adviseable for travellers).
Ability to send and receive Bitcoin and Ethereum with the TenX wallet and card.

Demerits

There is just one thing i see as a limitation/demerit of the TenX wallet and it's the fact that it is still limited based on the number of wallets it can accommodate. I think it should be able to accomodate up to about 50 to 70 different cryptocurrency wallets.

Conclusion

We have seen the importance of wallets and the TenX wallet have actually satisfied most of the needs for wallets, it is a very safe and reliable wallet accompanied with fast transaction speed and supports multiple cryptocurrency wallets. What else can one require from a wallet if not all these?
