Hyperdragons (Game Review) - First Decentralized Fighting Game & First Ever Blockchain Strategy Game

I have played all kinds of games be it gameboy, playstation, mobile games, so my knowledge about games is massive. I'm actually writing my first game review(just maybe I might even like this new area of writing, who knows, but you can drop what you think, don't be harsh with your criticism though, smiles). I'm going to be sharing my personal review about this awesome game, Hyperdragons which is currently(as at the time of writing this article) ranked number 28 on the State of the DApps ranking. What Is Hyperdragons

Hyperdragons is an online game built on the Ethereum blockchain. As I earlier stated, I have quite some good knowledge about games, and that's why I am going to tell you guys that Hyperdragons has a similar game mission like Clash Of Clans. For those of you know who have played Clash of Clans or Lords Mobile or Castle Clash, know how interesting and captivating it is, right? But imagine a game which is more interesting than those games and you can get actually get rewarded for playing, how cool is that? Hyperdragons is basically about collecting, breeding and trading digital dragons. I can put it in a simpler way, hyperdragons is about constructing your dragon castle(town hall), getting resources and battling with other users/players around the world on Ethereum blockchain.

Dragons

Dragons are the troops of this game, they fight for you, they mine, they defend your castle, and they can be traded for Ether. There are different forms of dragons with different unique abilities, appearances and skills. So getting a good dragon is very vital in this game as it determines a great lot for your battles, your mining of resources and also for producing very valuable dragon babies and that are very valuable in game. You can basically train and upgrade your dragon and trade for Ether and also you can purchase good dragons. The better your dragons, the more they mine out DST Token for you and the more victory you get, hence, more rewards. DST Tokens, is the game's token, like how steem platform has two tokens, steem and SBD, hyperdragons in-game token is DST Tokens. For those of us, who have played the online strategy I listed above, you know the stronger your troops, the more victory you get, hence, rewards you get and the better your defense as you would use some of your rewards to upgrade your defenses, that's exactly the same thing with Hyperdragons.

Vital Elements For Your Dragons

There are basically three vital/crucial elements for your dragons to represent you well on the battlefield. The first is their hit points. This is like rest of the online strategy games, it is the life power of your dragon. The more hit points your dragon has, the stronger it is on the battlefield. The second is their unique skills different dragons have different unique skills, so your ability to combine your dragons for an attack determines if you are going to win or lose. Lastly, is their honor, that's their level of upgrade, the higher your dragon's honor, the higher your chances of winning battles and also increase in their mining abilities. These three elements determine the value of a dragon in the marketplace of this game.

Dragon Castle

Like on Clash of Clans, we call it Town hall, but on Hyper Dragon, it is called Dragon Castle. This is where your assets and defense are. Your dragon castle determines a whole lot in this game, as the higher your dragon castle, the higher the levels your dragons can be, hence, the more rewards you can get from mining. Also, your castle is where your resources are, you will need to upgrade your defense to defend your opponents from seizing your DST resources. You are limited to have more resources, to upgrade your dragons, if your Dragon Castle isn't first upgraded, so your Dragon Castle determines a lot in this game. I'm already enjoying this game.

Battle Time

As I guess you already know, the stronger your dragons, the higher your chances of winning your battles against your opponents. The reward for victory is Ether, isn't that just cool? Also this game blew my mind with an amazing feature which allows users or let me say players with dragons to also join the fun and get rewards too. But how? Yea, this game has a feature for observers who also want to get in the fun of the game to predict who is going to win a battle and get rewarded if the player they predicted actually wins. I must say, that is a super awesome cool feature.

That should be the question on your mind after reading this article to this extent. You need to first create an wallet by installing metamask on your system and Imtoken on your mobile and connecting your wallet to your account which you create on the game's site with your username and password and you are good to go.

Conclusion

This is one the best and most interesting game I have ever seen, what's super cool about this game is that, you don't just spend your time playing the game but you are actually investing your time because you are making tokens which have monetary value. But you must always have this behind your mind, that it's a game and not a trade, so you don't need to spend too much and take it too seriously, you need to have fun while playing it.
