While this seems good because of the solution it promises to provide to tackle the issues we face in our current financial system. Like every other system which has its pros and cons. The cryptocurrency sector also experiences problems such as security, transparency, credibility, to name a few.
Many cryptocurrency investors have lost millions of money due to security lapses in their digital wallets.

After making use of this wallet, I couldn’t agree less with its description. Trust wallet meets all its description. Trust wallet is an open source mobile app that works both on IOS and Android. You’ll often notice the term ‘secure’ in most digital wallet descriptions. While some fail to live up to the security standard required to safeguard user’s digital assets. Trust wallet is an exception when it comes to security.

As already stated in the previous section, trust wallet is easy to use and doesn’t require high technical skills to operate.

Steps To Create A New Wallet

• Click the ‘CREATE A NEW WALLET’ link
• Tick the button and click continue(Write it down on a piece of paper or copy and store in a safe place.)
• Verify your recovery phrase and click done.
  And that’s all. You’ve just created your personal crypto wallet. You are now ready to buy. Well done.
  
  Steps To Import A Wallet
• Click the ‘I already have a wallet’ link
• Choose the type of cryptocurrency you wish to import
• Provide any one of the required keys from the list of four options, which will enable trust wallet import your wallet.

There are four options to choose which method you wish to import with.

1. ** PHRASE** – This is the recovery phrase you were given when creating the wallet you wish to recover. It's typically 12 (sometimes 24) words separated by single spaces.
2. KEYSTORE JSON – Several lines of text beginning with “(…)” plus the password you used to encrypt it.
3. PRIVATE KEY – Typically 64 alphanumeric characters
4. ADDRESS – Your wallet address. This will let you view balances and transactions, but not send transactions.
   I personally prefer storing my wallet keys on my mail draft, or I writie them down on a book. Nevertheless, you have to choose which method to store your keys that’s best for you.

How to add cryptocurrency to my wallet

• Log in to your wallet
• Press the plus sign at the top right corner
• Type the name of the coin you wish to add to your wallet and click the plus sign
• Click the receive button
• Either you scan the QR code or you copy your wallet address to transfer funds to your wallet.

How to transfer digital assets

• Tap on the cryptocurrency you wish to send
• Click the send button
• Type the recipient address and the amount you wish to send and click next
• Confirm your details and click on send

The security of this app is another great feature. Unlike most wallet applications, trust wallet doesn’t require any personal information from its users.
Trust wallet offers a client-side security model i.e. your keys are stored locally on your device.
Passwords and Touch ID are used to secure and prevent your wallet from unauthorized users.

This wallet supports a wide range of coins/token.

After using some of the big names on google play store, I can give you lots of reasons to choose trust wallet over similar apps.
First and foremost trust wallet offers transparency cos its open source. Trust wallet is secured and it’s also packed with great features which are listed above compare to similar apps.
