Introduction

Blockchain technology has continued to make life easier for humans. Ever since its inception, this technology has created many opportunities for users to earn while solving many human problems. When the technology has fully been adopted by everyone, the world will witness a drastic change in the way things are being done.
I’ve made several blog posts on different awesome blockchain projects, and this post is no exception. This post will look at a video platform that enables people to make and fulfil a video request. I know this platform as the Vevue platform.

What is Vevue?

I may define Vevue platform as a peer-to-peer (P2P) video network on the QTUM Blockchain that enables its users to share videos between themselves while earning cryptocurrency.
It creates an atmosphere where a person can make a unique video request; another user fulfils the request and earns a token. This eliminates the natural middleman that would have been involved.

How it works

The idea behind Vevue is to give users access to videos they would love to watch but can’t get it.
For example, a user called Mr A have been dreaming to have a glimpse of what it looks like watching the Sunset on the popular London bridge, but he has not been opportune to have this glimpse probably due to distance or any other reason. All Mr A has to do is to create a video requesting someone to give him a video of Sunset at London Bridge.
After the request, another user (Mr B) will capture and send a video of sunset at the London Bridge. Mr A will then review and approve the video. Upon approval, Mr B will earn cryptocurrency. Mr B can also add copyright to his video.
This process eliminates the middleman and makes the whole process fast and easy.

How to Get Started

Getting started on the Vevue platform is not as hard as it appears. Follow the steps below to get started:

• Visit the website on https://www.Vevue.app/main.

• Click on the profile icon as shown below.
  

• Select your country

• Enter your mobile number and click the ‘send sms’ button.

• Input the confirmation code sent to you via SMS in the space provided and click Login.
  

• Set up your profile and click the ‘save’ button.
  

Congratulations, you’ve successfully begun your Vevue journey.

How to View nearby Vevue task request, follow the steps below:

• Click on the Vevue logo at the top right part of your screen.
  

• A drop-down menu will pop up, click on ‘task’.
  

You’ll see a list of an available video task request.

How to make a video request

• Click on the Vevue logo at the top right part of your screen.
  

• A drop-down menu will pop up, click on ‘pin’
  

• Read and accept the Google location agreement. It will then turn your location on.
  

• Use the search box to type the location of your video request. For this post, I’ll be using Kilimanjaro Fast Food.
  

• Click on the ‘send request’ button.

• Describe what you want the user to capture.
  

• Choose those eligible to respond to your request. I’ll use ‘everyone’ for this tutorial.

• Choose your bounty worth
  

• Click request.
  

Components and features

The platform has some components and features that make it unique. Below are some of them:

User interface

The platform has a simple and easy to navigate interface. They arrange the buttons in a way that a new user can still navigate the site in a convenient manner.

The profile page

The profile page enables users to have a quick overall view of their account. It is where the user’s works, likes, and response can be found. The amount Vevue Token owned by a user can also be found here.it is from this page that users can top up their Vevue token.

The history and watch later page

This page shows the entire transaction history of the user’s account.
The watch later page displays all the videos that a user had bookmarked for later use. This feature enables users to locate videos that they had saved for later use.

The Setting page

This page is where users can change their display picture, edit their username and edit their bio.

Advantages

There are two main advantages of this awesome platform. They are:
It gives the user the ability to request and watch specific videos that might not be found elsewhere. This can help the user make decisions, help make dreams come through or help in research.

It gives the video creator the opportunity to have the copyright and also earn cryptocurrency.

Disadvantages

The only disadvantage of this platform is that users might not be available to handle a specific request in certain locations.

Comparison

There are lots of video platforms out there, but there is none that enables users to request original videos and enables the video creator to earn cryptocurrency in return.

Experience, suggestion, rating and conclusion

Using the platform has to be a wonderful experience for me. The users of the application are not active in the locations I live in. I have gotten no video request, and no one has attended to my request.
I suggest they should do more towards the promotion and awareness of this awesome platform.

I give it a star rating of 4.9 because everything works smoothly on the platform.

I will take it upon myself to share the good news about Vevue in my state of residence. Hopefully, this will bring more activities for me on the platform.
