Final Wrap Up of the State of Steem Forum Series

This week on Thursday evening (my time) was the second part of the closing wrap-up for the State of Steem series of thematic weekly forums @pennsif hosted.

I believe we can all agree these were a necessary series of forums which started in a period of great confusion following the layoffs and change of priorities from Steemit, Inc. It is also the place where Ned, Elizabeth Powell and other people from Steemit, Inc. found regular lines of communications with the community.

It is the place where important issues have been made public, discussed and clarified about

• witnesses
• nodes
• RocksDB
• SMTs
• RC Delegation Pools
• account Creation
• (d)Apps
• Steem economics (inflation, attracting investors, revenue streams, advertising)
• Marketing, PR and Onboarding
• Communities, content creation, curation and retention
• Steem Commerce
• Worker Proposal System (Steem.DAO)
• Steem Alliance

For now the State of Steem Forum series is over. I hope after a break, maybe some thoughts and/or new ideas, it will start again, in this format or another. I don't have any experience in this area of hosting shows/forums to know what is better.

I know it is needed though, for keeping community informed, for discussing and clarifying possible sensitive subjects, and why not for harmonizing actions and developments on certain topics. And seems participants would like to see this going on to, from some reactions I've heard.
