Is Solo: A Star Wars Story worth watching?

This is a good question, and I believe I will give a mixed answer. I had a great time watching this movie in the cinema, and I didn't regret at all spending two hours eating nachos with some salsa dip while watching the movie. Of course, it wasn't a big highlight either, so I don't really remember a lot of the actual movie. I do remember how Han Solo met Chewbacca (and that is important), and some other stuff. But, this is really just a movie you watch, have a good time, and forget about it.

So, it cannot and shouldn't be compared with the awesome series named The Mandalorian, which is fantastic and that I am able to watch over again (if needed). This is more like other movies that you just watch to have a good time, and that is it!

If you are a Star Wars fanatic, this is most likely going to end up as a disappointment. Unlike Star Wars: Rogue One, a fantastic spin-off movie, this is more like a bonus movie, almost like Lion King 2. What does that mean? It wasn't needed at all, it doesn't add much to the story, but I don't mind it being produced.

But, if I first mentioned Lion King 2... have you ever seen Lion King 3? That is actually a hilarious movie. It is all about making fun of the original, seen from the perspective of Timon and Pumba. If you like humor and if you feel really tired, the third movie in the series might actually be a real treat to you (at least it was to me).
