The Last Jedi 2017 Movie Review (did you get the pun?)

A few months ago, I saw the movie The Last Jedi. As part of the popular Star Wars book and movie series, it was definitely one to remember. This movie is mainly about a large-scale competition between the Light (resistance) and the Dark (first order) that takes place in a galaxy far, far away over the course of more than a few sols. Rey has been pitted against Ben Solo and Snoke. As the movie went on, there was a scene in which Luke Skywalker finally resolves to teach Rey the way of the force. However, as time went on, she begins to fear a secret about him, and starts to drift towards the beckoning Dark Side of the Force. The movie is a continuation of The Force Awakens, and one of the most expensive movies of all time.
When Rey turns herself in to Snoke and Ben Solo, Ben defeats Snoke by slicing him in half, leaving him, Rey and the Elite Praetorian Guards. Him and Rey fight the Guards, and are eventually left alone, and they begin to fight for control of a lightsaber. At the same time, Amilyn Holdo turns her ship around to collide with the First Order at light speed. This point of the movie has received a bit of criticism, because of the short silence while this is happening. The point of the silence is to emphasize the weight of the things taking place. The Last Jedi is a masterpiece, and as usual, Lucasfilms LTD added a cliffhanger at the end of the movie. At the end, a force-sensitive cantonican named Temiri Blagg looks up to the stars as a broom floats into his hand. He looks at the resistance band in his hand and raises his broom like a lightsaber before the credits roll.
I am a bit of a Star Wars fan, and this movie was one of the most amazing ones I have seen. In addition, I would like to include some of my own theories. Firstly, who were Rey’s parents? You might remember Ben Solo telling her they were nobodies who died, but he had Sith blood, and Sith lie. Anakin Skywalker did not have a father, he was partly born of the force. Rey, I think, was born fully of the force. She is a force child. I have other theories, but this one seems to be the least far-fetched, and so I will wrap it up.
Lastly, the review I would give this movie would be a 5/5. For comparison, the only other movies who would receive this rating from me would be Wonder Woman 2017 and Justice League 2017. The Last Jedi was rated as PG-13, but I think anyone who is a fan should see it. One of the most important messages conveyed by TLJ is that everyone has their own strengths, some just aren’t recognized in the moment. Another message is that everything is not black and white, but has many shades of grey in between.
