There are a lot of Star Wars fan theories all over the web these days with many of them focusing around a Jewish theme, from what looks like Hebrew writing on Vader's chest plate, to the Jedi Padawan hair braid being likened to the Jewish Payot sidelocks, and even Yoda could reflect the name Yehudah (Judah), founder of the Israelite Tribe of Judah, and where we get the land of Judea and the word "Jew" from.

There are many more Jewish connections to the world of Star Wars, but today I'm going to compare (purely for fun!) another member of the 12 tribes to a well known Star Wars protagonist:

Joseph & Anakin Skywalker

▪ Both were considered to be miracle births (Anakin conceived by the Force & Joseph's mother Rachel was considered to be barren)

▪ Both were slaves at one point

▪ Both had dreams about their future

▪ Both weren't really liked by most around them

▪ Both of their mothers died while they (Anakin & Joseph) were in a foreign land

▪ Both had beautiful wives (;p) and 2 children

▪ Both rose to be a right-hand man type to a leader/monarch (Anakin: Emperor Palpatine & Joseph: Pharaoh)
