谈谈ycombinator, My thought

Hello Steemit friend, today I want to talk about y combinator, y combinator is an american angel investment fund where twice a year, they will invest 30 startup by providing $120,000 cash, guidance and network to help the new startup to succeed. And the only thing they take is 7% equity of the startup.

from year 2005 until now, the return they make is huge

this is the website that showcase all the startup they invested in, some have exited and some is dead, however, those that succeed can sometimes surpass a billion dollar, startup such as reddit, twitch tv, dropbox, airbnb, stripe, coin base, omgpop all become famous and successful

until year 2014, they have invested over 716 startup and the total net worth of those startup add up to a staggering $30 billion, which mean their 7% stake is worth more than $2 billion dollar, the one that exceed $1 billion include airbnb, dropbox and stripe

到了２０１４年，他们总共投资了超过７１６家公司而全部公司的市值加起来是超过３００亿美金，而他们的７％也就是大概有２０亿美金，其中当中最大的就是Airbnb，dropbox，stripe（这三家都超过１０亿美金）

当然，如果我们不住在美国我们是没有机会去申请他们的投资的，不过作为一个看客，其实是可以从http://yclist.com 里看看别人都在做什么而寻找灵感，可能有一天你也可以创造一个１０亿的企业呢？
