Introducing DentalSteem
I had an idea for a new kind of dental program for Steemians.
If we could raise a few million dollars worth of Steem to Power Up a Dental upvote account, then when users needed work done they could write a proposal outlining the cost for it.
If the proposal is accepted
the @DentalSteem account could upvote the proposal with sufficient weight and the user could have access to funds that helps to pay for their dental work. This is a big idea- and if we want it then we can create it. If Steemians like you believe in the concept enough then we can make it a reality!
DentalSteem Token
If we were to launch a SteemEngine token to help with funding this, would you send STEEM to @DentalSteem? To raise $1 Million Dollars in Steem we would need to collect 2,533,062.802 STEEM today, and upvotes would be worth approximately $40 at current prices. We could do a lot of good. Potentially I could create 5 Million DentalSteem SE tokens, and for every 1 Steem sent to @DentalSteem the contributing user would receive 1 DentalSteem token.

With proper oral hygiene, no cavities in my case.

I Just Donated ONE STEEM Token Because I have to go to the Dentist. I know that since I do not have Dental Insurance, that This Program Could do Lots of People Some Good.......Thank You @dentalsteem
Thank you @stokjockey! That is the spirit. Dental Insurance is costly and if you do not have it, it can be expensive to get any work done. Steem received will be powered up to increase the account value.

Fair question! @Darkflame originally created a Fundition outlining this idea, and after deliberating for weeks on the subject decided to get this started. The @DentalSteem account will serve to carry out this project. More details will follow, so far @DentalSteem has powered up 2 Donations in the first hour!

If you one day have to, it would be great to have funding options as expenses can be very high. You can support the project by upvoting as well! I look forward to making the @DentalSteem pin, would you consider buying one of those?
